| Bombo enjoyed his chat with the bullfrog, but he didn’t dare stay longer. Time was passing too quickly. He wanted to find more amazing creatures around the pond before his little bee friend was ready to go.
Bombo walks carefully around the pond to an old fallen log. He sees an old, rusty looking shell on the log. He knocks on the shell and out pops a head. Startled by this, Bombo jumps back.
“What is it you want?” asks the grouchy old turtle.
“I am just looking for amazing things.” Bombo says. “Are you amazing?”

| “As a matter of fact, I am.” said the grouchy old turtle. “Turtles live to be very old. We can live to be 100 to 200 years old. Our bodies move very slowly, and we do not use much energy, so we do not get weakened like other faster moving creatures. We stay strong.” |
“Wow!” says Bombo. “That IS amazing.”
“Now, move along.” says the old turtle. “You have interrupted my nap, and I want to live at least 200 years.” So, Bombo sets off on his trip around the pond.
